RP: A Ball of a Time

It was a casual day in the sewers, Ringo was lazing around bored with nothing to do. "Sigh, nothing ever happens around here...all we can do is practice using our affinity or something..."

Fyi, a new born she-fox of red, cream and black, was also quite bored on this day. She was thinking of how boring it was and how she could alleviate herself from this. She then spotted the green and red fox. "Ehhhh... Maybe I'll just talk a bit..." She got up and padded over to Ringo in a casual fashion, "Hi."

Ringo looked up at the fox that spoke to her and stretched out her legs. "Good day, what brings you around? Are you as bored as I am?..."

"Yeah I'm bored. I was wondering if... well... You wanna go explore?" She asked, "Oh, I'm Fyi."

"Yes of course! Exploring would be way better than laying around here all day!" She answerd wagging her tail. "My name is Ringo, its nice to meet you! Now, where should we go?" She asked.

"Hmm.. How bout... Jee.. I don't know... Just maybe anywhere in the Sewers that isn't uhm... overrun with water?"

"Hmm" the light green fox thought for a while. "Somewhere in the sewers that doesnt have a lot of water...well, I always wanted to check out the places with collapsed ceilings, who knows maybe we will find something interesting, like a kros bead or something!"

"Now that's a good idea! Let's go!" Fyi yipped and bounced around, eager to go and explore and perhaps learn more about the green fox

"Ok lets get going then" Ringo said cheerfully. "I think one of the areas is this way...I passed by one once and wanted to check it out, but I got a little scared...heheh" she said blushing a bit and begining to walk down a hallway.

Fyi doubly followed, curious to see what the place the latter mentioned, all the while avoiding any and every water drop that fell from the ceiling at times. As they walked along, she wondered what kind of Aeniama the latter was. "Say, what's your affinity?"

Ringo's ears perked up at the question. "Oh, mines plant, I haven't really found a way to use it yet though. Plants just dont grow well in sewers...whats yours? Fire im guessing."

"Huh. That's a cool affinity," Fyi replied before answering Ringo's question, "Oh mine is Poison. But I do love Fire."

"Poison huh, you were trying youre best to stay away from the water so I assumed it was fire. You learn something new everyday I guess!" She said cheerfully.

"Really? Haha! I guess you do learn something new!" Fyi said cheerfully with a chuckle to her voice as well.

"Haha" Ringo laughed with her. They began getting close to the fallen ceiling area, and the scent around became something...unpleasant.."Wouldn't surprise me if there was rats around here. We better be carful"

"Rats? What are Rats?" Fyi asked before the unpleasantry odor hit her snout, "Bleaghh! What's that Smell!"

"I never really seen one myself, but I have herd older foxes talking about them. They said they were dangerous creatures that roam the sewers with us...ugh, gives me the shivers just thinking about them..." She said covering her nose with her right paw to block out the stench.

"Grrr, More stuff that i hate about the sewers! For a place that is supposed to be our home, this place is nuts!" Fyi complained, sneezing a bit

"Yeah...I wish we didnt have to be down here all the time..." Ringo looked down at the floor of the sewers and dug in the dirt a bit with her left paw. " it would be nice if we could go up there though. Where the humans are...I wonder what happend for them to hate us so much?"

"Hmm... That's a good question. Maybe we should ask them when we get bigger!" Fyi said, after all, what better way to figure out a problem than by asking about it!

"They almost diffinitly wouldn't tell us the truth at this age. But I'm definitely asking about it when I'm older!"
Ringo turned to continue to the area with the fallen ceiling.
"We should be carful now though.." She said as she began walking to the location once again, listening to everything, in case it was a rat.

"Okay!"Fyi said as she began to pad around the rubble. She moved a piece of cement to see a bug cuttle out, "YAI! WHAT IS THAT!" she shouted, the scuttling thing was new to her and she did not like it

Ringo stepped back from the new creature that appeared from the rubble. " u-um...nice to meet you...?" She greeted. Getting no answer, she tilted her head and frowned. "Huh? No reply?"

The bug quickly scuttled away from the two foxes, making a tiny chirping sound as it went on its way

"...I don't like that thing...." Fyi said, grimacing as she watched the thing run off

"Well it certainly wasn't very polite. Lets see what else we can find." Ringo said as she began poking through the rubble again.

Fyi turned away from the tunnel as Ringo began to poke through the rubble again and decided to do the same. She dug her snout into the rubble to see what she could find, and boy, did she find something!

"Hey, what's this?" Fyi said, pawing the rocks away to reveal a bright yellow ball

"Hmm, lets see" Ringo walked over next to Fyi. "Woah! Do you think it's a kros bead?!

"I dunno!" Fyi batted the ball, which made it bounce a bit, "Woah!"

"Ha! It bounces!" Ringo said happily. She batted the ball as well and watched as the new ball Fyi found started to bounce its way down the sewers. "Come on let's chase it!"

"Yay! I'm coming!" Fyi said as she followed Ringo, eagerly chasing the bright yellow ball, she liked this bouncy thing! And it seemed like a lot of fun to play with someone else

Ringo continued to chase the ball. Whenever she would catch up to it, she would bat the ball back to Fyi. "Here!" She called out, enjoying every bit of this new toy.

Fyi laughed as well as she bat the ball back to Ringo whenever it got to here, "This thing is Fun!" she let out loudly, pretty much announcing her presence to the tunnel

The sound of Fyi's voice echoed through the sewer tunnels. With faint shrieking noises being herd after. "Hmm, I wonder what made that noise?" The noise sounded more clear within a few seconds and soon sounded like it was right behind the corner.

Fyi stopped when she saw Ringo stop, "What? What's wrong?"

"Do you here that shrieking noise?" She asked. "It sounds really close..."

Fyi listened in and started to hear what Ringo was talking about, "Yeah... Kinda hurts to listen to."

In seconds a swarm of bats flew towards Ringo and Fyi! "What are those?!" She said loudly.

Fyi couldn't hear Ringo over the sound of the bats, AND herself, screeching at the top of her voice when she saw all those bats fly off, "I DON'T KNOW!!!"

"Quick! Duck!" Ringo yelled whille ducking and putting her two paws over her ears to block out the screeching sound of the bats.

"GO AWAY YOU-YOU-YOU-THINGS!" Fyi screeched as she pulled her bamboo stick from the bandages on her leg and began batting at thin air with it, her eyes shut tight

Ringo stayed low to the ground keeping her paws over her head. " ugh, I want them to stop..." She said as her voice shook from fear.

Soon the bats had left and Fyi was left with her bamboo staff in her mouth and out of breath, "i shhhthhtinkk thhey gonshh." she slurred

Ringo stood up and bowed to Fyi. "Thank you for fending them off, is that the weapon you use?"

Fyi wagged her tail in a spastic manner while her eyes gleamed with delight, "Yurr welschom!" She stuck the stick back into the bandages, "It's a stick that holds my totem in it. I guess it can be kinda like a weapon!"

" I guess in some ways its better to have a weapon you use physically than Kros."

"Mmhmm! Say, What's your totem?" Fyi asked with a gleam in her violet eyes

" mine is this windchime." She replied while lifting the windchime on her necklace up with her left paw. " I really like music~"

"Wooo... Cool! It's really pretty!" Fyi jumped around a bit before her ears flapped down and she looked across the tunnels, "Say... Is it okay if we head back to the Safe Room?"

"Sure, if you'd like. I think this is enough adventure for one day~"

Fyi nodded before she skipped past Ringo to pick up something, the Yellow Ball, and then skipped back to him, "Leshhh Go!"

Ringo nodded and they began their walk back to the safe rooms. Ringo let out a yawn.

Fyi let out a yawn as well as she did her best to keep the ball in her mouth,"Yeer mashking merr yawshh." She grinned, before giving Ringo a little nudge, "Thanksshh ferh playinsh witshh merr."

Ringo chuckled at how Fyi sounded with the ball in her mouth." You're very welcome~ and thank you too! I had a lot of fun today!"

Fyi gave a wide grin at Ringo, happy at how the day turned out.
